BLACK LIVES MATTER VOICES

The book is a collections of texts based on the interviews with Americans conducted in 2020-2021, during and after Black Lives Matter protests in the United States. They provide analysis of politics, history and causes of the protests, reflections on how they are connected with other liberation movements. People also shared their personal and family stories, and their experiences of racism and anti-racist struggle. There are 25 people presented in the book, among them are students, professors, journalists, artists, scholars, activists. They are featured in the portraits, mostly painted from the screens of video-recordings.
