This is the story about my great-grandmother from Central Ukraine whose name is lost. This is a history of all unknown women who lived to gave birth to children, but didn’t live for themselves. In the picture there are names of her five daughters: Uliana, Kharytyna, Motria, Nastia and Halia, and text in Ukrainian: «Nameless, she gave birth to five daughters and died when the youngest was 1 year old. Grandma didn’t say her name, and my mom didn’t ask, and I didn’t ask too.»
